Dynasty: The Polack family and the Jewish House at Clifton
Polack's House, founded at Clifton College in 1878, was the first Jewish boarding house at a British public school. It lasted for 127 years and from 1890 to 1979 its four outstanding housemasters were members of the Polack family. This book tells the story of these four men and the development of the house against the background of the growth of the school in importance and influence.
